Even though it has some flaws imho, "Unfolding Self - The practice of psychosynthesis" by Molly Young Brown is a great read without the many archaic views of Assagioli (even has 2 references to Bohm : ))

In a way I indeed think it has to do with wholeness as a person. And in a way it is also about sticking with something and not changing views or actions according to the situation. At least not just because others do.

But as I see it, on the other hand it is about adjusting to certain situations at times. Accept something, even if you don't agree with it.

I think the reason, the intention, for sticking with something or not, is what really matters. About the courage to be honest with yourself. And then make a decision that you think is the best at that time.

Thanks for bringing up psychosynthesis. I read a book from Roberto Assagioli years ago, but looked on Wikipedia now to see what again his views were. Certainly going to read some more.

Integrity has to do with wholeness as a person, no? It's about saying something at one time and sticking to that, not changing your views or actions according to the situation.
I connect this idea with the concept of subpersonalities/subidentities, which are examined at length in psychosynthesis.

Greetings!

I am so glad you could follow my thought process because I had to rewrite it several times to make it more clear.

I think I have now officially more drafts than posts.

Very beautifully put. I experienced this post as a kind of guided meditation. As I followed your thought process I found your logic and input to be flawless. This is true wisdom.
